Over 30 years of training and breeding of championship Labrador Retrievers.
For over thirty years Full Choke Kennels has raised breed and trained championship Labrador Retrievers. Labradors Retrievers’ exceptional intelligence, even demeanor and consummate loyalty make them an idea pet and companion, and their naturally webbed feet, exceptional swimming strength and inherent desire to retrieve make them a necessity on every hunt. Our true passion is gun dog training: getting our retrievers ready for your next duck hunting trip, and we offer a range of classes to fit your needs and budget. However, if you love Labradors but are not a hunter, we offer a full range of breeding, obedience training, and boarding services. Please check our Services page for a thorough list of our prices and services.
Founded and operated by Doug and Lisa Ware, our goal is to be Arkansas' best gun dog breeder and training service. Our new location and new training facility in Glenwood, Arkansas is on a large plot of land covered with brushy trails, lakes and creeks ideal for hunting and training.

The best trained dogs are the ones that are given the most hands on training. This is why we make sure never to take on more dogs than we can handle to insure that every one of our labs gets the personal attention they need to be the best gun dogs on the hunt. Gun Dog Training is our specialty and that’s why we are in the fields with our dogs 300 days per year, and when we aren’t training, we’re putting their skills to work on the hunt. For us, this is a dream come true. Share in our passion, by becoming a part of the Full Choke Family. We believe that Labradors are the best breed on the market for families and gamesmen alike, and our Champion Labs are the best you will find. Bring a Full Choke Labrador into your life or family: you will be glad you did.
